Mariah Carey has revealed that when she becomes pregnant,she will keep it a secret she said: “I’ve changed my mind because I am with The One. I think we would make good parents, and that we’d be able to figure everything out together. People are constantly asking me if I’m pregnant, but I don’t like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We’ll see.”

Whoopi Goldberg has announced that she is mounting a stage production of her 1992 blockbuster film "Sister Act" to take place in London. The Oscar winner says she will not star in the theater version, which mirrors the movie that starred Goldberg as an on-the-lam lounge singer who hides out in a convent. The musical will open June 2, 2009, at the London Palladium, with preview performances beginning May 6, she announced Thursday.

Kanye West was arrested Thursday night in Newcastle- after a photographer alleged he was assaulted by the rapper. However the star- who is currently taking his Glow In The Dark Tour around the UK- was quickly released without charge. Paparazzi Terry Blackburn claims he suffered bruising and cuts after West pushed his camera into his face outside a Newcastle club. It’s not the first time Kanye has clashed with photographers. Earlier this year he was arrested in Los Angeles for alleged criminal damage but was never charged.

N-Dubz will release their debut album Uncle B on November 17. The North London trio will then bring out single Papa Can You Hear Me a week later on November 24. The track is a tribute to 20 year old rapper Dappy’s father and tackles his death in the lyrics. Fellow N- Dubz member Fazer said: “Seeing the response we get from the fans inspires us every day. We also strive to fulfill Dappy’s dad’s dreams of making the band a massive success.”

Tuesday saw the turn of UK grime artist Tinchy Stryder shine the light on an important cause. Stryderman attended a demonstration that was held at the Russian embassy as part of Clt.Alt.Shift’s campaign against the travel ban some countries impose on HIV sufferers. Over 300 activists turned up to protest and raise awareness of the Nothing to Declare campaign. Tinchy is hoping to encourage young people to register their support so Clt.Alt.Shift can present 50,000 emails to the embassies of the 10 country’s that impose the law – in order to try and lift the bans. The aim is to achieve this by Worlds Aids day on December 1st.

Lil’ Wayne became the first rapper ever to appear at the Country Music Awards in Nashville on Wednesday. Weezy joined Kid Rock onstage at country music’s biggest night as he performed All Summer Long, but instead of dropping some verses he strummed a guitar instead. Mr Carter and the Kid, who had previously appeared onstage together at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in September, both wore Tennessee Titans jerseys in tribute to the CMA’s Nashville setting.

Secretive singer Beyonce has spoken about her Wedding with Jay-Z- which took place earlier this year. Speaking to sofa goddess Oprah she said: “It was very private... Outside it was paparazzi madness and inside it was really beautiful. It was difficult and it still is because I'm so excited about it, but it's important that I keep things that are pure and real in perspective, and I keep it separate from my performance life.”

Super-producer Timbaland is making his first foray into films by exec-producing a flick called Vinyl. The hitmaker’s company Mosley Media Group is working on and financing the movie- which will tell the story of five women who are with blokes in a rock band.
